This colorful fruit salad is infused with fragrant orange blossom water. The recipe is from Martha Stewart Living, May 2006 and serves 8. The ingredients include 1/4 cup sugar, juice of 1/2 lime, 1 tablespoon orange blossom water, 2 large ripe mangoes (about 10 ounces), peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces (about 3 cups), and 1 ripe papaya (about 2 pounds), peeled, halved, seeded, and cut into 1-inch pieces (about 3 1/2 cups). To make the salad, cook the sugar and 1 cup of water in a small pot over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and cook until reduced to 3/4 cup, about 5 to 8 minutes. Remove the syrup from the heat and stir in the lime juice and orange blossom water. Let cool slightly. Put the fruit in a large bowl. Add the syrup and gently toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to 4 hours).
