Ingredients: 1/4 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish, 1 tablespoon grainy mustard, coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper, 1 1/2 pounds steak, 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 1 bunch watercress, trimmed, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, 4 slices thick-cut rye bread, toasted, grilled pepper with garlic and basil, or store-bought roasted red pepper, if preferred. Directions: 1. Make the radish sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, radish, and mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill while preparing the steak. 2. Preheat broiler, with rack 6 inches from heat. Season steak well on both sides with salt and pepper. Rub with 2 tablespoons oil. Place on a broiler pan fitted with a rack. Broil 6 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing 1/4 inch thick. 3. Toss watercress in a bowl. Drizzle with remaining tablespoon oil and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Serve on toasted bread, topped with steak slices, radish sauce, and grilled pepper.
