These caramel-filled cones with ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon make for sweet stockings and party favors. Caramels should be individually wrapped in cellophane or wax paper to prevent them from sticking together. This recipe from Martha Stewart Living yields about 12 1/2 dozen caramels. To make them, youll need heavy cream, light corn syrup, granulated sugar, unsalted butter, molasses, vanilla extract, salt, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, freshly grated nutmeg, and a pinch of cloves. Cook the ingredients together until the mixture reaches 248 degrees Fahrenheit, then pour onto a prepared baking sheet and let cool for 24 hours before cutting into pieces and wrapping. These caramels can be stored in airtight containers for up to a month. Enjoy!
