This rich, warm sauce tops chef Michel Richards Raisin Tart. It is made with brown sugar, heavy cream, dark rum, and butter. The sauce is simmered until smooth, thickened, and reduced. It can be made ahead of time and stored at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
