These pickled apples not only taste delicious, but they also serve as a great addition to richer dishes. The recipe, sourced from Martha Stewart Living in December 2008, calls for Lady or crab apples, apple cider vinegar, brown and granulated sugar, water, salt, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, bay leaves, whole black peppercorns, and fresh cranberries.
