This recipe sounds absolutely delicious! The combination of salty bacon, cheese, and bread inside a pumpkin is a perfect savory main dish or side dish. I love how the recipe includes Gruyere, Emmenthal, or Cheddar cheese, and the addition of garlic, chives, and thyme adds even more flavor. The use of cream and nutmeg in the filling is a great touch.
