Runsas kylmä kermavaahto on täydellinen täydennys.

Cookin huomautukset

This moist cake, inspired by Rosh Hashanah traditions of eating honey cake and honey-dipped fruit to represent hope for a sweet year ahead, is tempting with warm pear and honey syrup. Rich cold whipped cream is the perfect complement. Source: Martha Stewart Living, September 2004. Makes one 10-inch cake. If you keep kosher and would like to make these recipes dairy-free versions, replace butter with margarine and soy milk with regular milk. The cake can be made (without pears) one day ahead and stored in plastic wrap at room temperature.
