This recipe is perfect for making Meyer Lemon Crepe Cake. Pour the remaining candied citrus over yogurt or ice cream. Source: Martha Stewart Living, April 2010. Makes 2 cups. To make the candied citrus, bring sugar and water to a boil in a large pot until the sugar dissolves. Add sliced Meyer lemons and simmer until the rinds are translucent, about 30 minutes. Let the lemons cool in the syrup and then transfer them to a wire rack to allow excess syrup to drip off. The candied lemons can be stored in the syrup, covered, for up to 3 weeks.
